Indie is a web-based tool for authoring and delivering interactive "Investigate and Decide" scenarios, where students solve problems by running tests to gather data to use as evidence for some hypothesis.

Corrosion Investigator is a complex scenario developed for civil engineering students, where learners have to diagnose the causes of repeated pipe corrosion at a paper processing plant.

Kid Clinic: John Doe is a toy example of a scenario for simple medical diagnosis. The learner has to to decide if a patient has a cold, the flu, an allergy, or pneumonia.

Edit -- Log in required. Use demo, password demo if you don't have an account.

Kid Clinic: Mary Smith is an incomplete scenario in the same toy domain as John Doe. Use this to play with the Indie Authoring Tool.

To create a new scenario and/or domain, enter short identifiers (no spaces or punctuation) for the domain and scenario, and a title for the scenario. The title can include spaces and punctuation. Use KidClinic for the domain ID to make a new scenario in the toy medical domain.

To edit a scenario you've created, click on Show All Domains. You'll be asked to log in first, and then you'll see a list of all current domains. Show All Domains
